Block Collective Grom.

This is one of the bad guys. A giant armoured walking weapons platform with an equally matched bad temper. A formidable machine nearly impossible to defeat.

I could not figure out what this character would look like, so I started with blocks of wood. A shape started to come together that I liked, it was unusual and quirky... I liked it.

Next was finding kit parts and plastic shapes that fitted the large bulky form. I gave him a very out of proportion body shape mixing round and square. Just having fun with shapes and seeing where they go.

This is a large model and being cast in resin, was heavy. For all the shots of him posing, he had to be held up with wires which were later removed in Photoshop.
